A foreigner is allowed to travel and stay within the territory of Schengen states (including the territory of the Republic of Poland) without the necessity of having a visa during a period no longer than 3 months within a 6-month period on the basis of residence permit issued by one of Schengen states, provided that they meet the general conditions for entry into and stay within the territory of Schengen states at the same time, i.e. they have a valid travel document, they are able to justify the purpose and conditions of the planned stay and they have sufficient means of subsistence or possibilities to obtain them in accordance with the law, and they are not considered dangerous for public order, internal security, public health or international relations with any of the Member States, and in particular, no records have been registered for them on that basis for the purpose of rejecting entry into the domestic databases of Member States.
