In procedures related to granting refugee status, all letters are served to the applicant and when a representative acts on their behalf they are served to this representative. To applicants residing in the centre for foreigners seeking refugee status, letters are served through the head of the centre with a confirmation of receipt. When it is impossible to serve the letter in this way, the letter should be left with the head of the centre for the period of 7 days. The head of the centre puts information about the delivery of the letter, its date and location of receipt on the notice board in the centre in a language comprehensible to the foreigner. The letter is considered served 7 days after the placement of the notice.
