REVOKING OF A SETTLEMENT PERMIT

 

Legal basis

 

Article 68(1) of the Act of 13 June 2003 on Foreigners (Dz.U. of 2006, No. 234 item 1694, as amended).

A foreigner's settlement permit is revoked if:

 

  • 1) it is required by the defence or national security or to protect public safety and order or the interests of the Republic of Poland;
  • 2) they filed an application for such a permit or attached documents thereto containing false personal data or false information;
  • 3) during proceedings for the award of settlement permit, they testified untruthfully or have concealed the truth or forged or modified a document to use it as authentic, or used such document as authentic;
  • 4) they have been convicted of an intentional crime by a final judgment in the Republic of Poland to serve a three-year custodial sentence;
  • 5) they have permanently left the territory of the Republic of Poland.
