REFUSAL TO REGISTER AN INVITATION

 

 

The decision to refuse entry in the register of invitations is issued if:

  1)  data on the invited foreigner appears on the list of foreigners whose stay on Polish territory is undesirable, and when the entry or residence of the foreigner on the Polish territory may pose a threat to national defence or national security or to the protection of public safety and order or violate the interests of the Republic of Poland;

  2)  financial situation of the inviting party, and in case of a natural person also the living conditions, suggest that it will not be able to satisfy the obligations agreed upon in the invitation;

  3)  inviting party did not perform its obligations under previously issued invitation;

  4)  inviting party does not meet the requirements referred to in Article 16(1);

  5)  in the procedure for entering the invitation into the register of invitations, the inviting party:

a)  filed an application or attached the documents containing false personal data or false information,

b) testified untruthfully or concealed the truth or forged or transformed a document to use it as authentic, or used such document as authentic;
